the Asko South Island Endurance Series via Endless Advance Race BrakeTechnology, who become Official BrakingPartners to the prestigious and hotly-contested annual series starting inInvercargill this weekend.
Recently sanctioned by Motorsport New Zealand as a nationalchampionship, the South Island Endurance Series will boast a full field of top class race cars, teams and drivers fromaround the country all competing for the one hour and three hour title over thenext two months, in this year’s three-round series.
Prosport Auto Managing Director Mike Cullingford says “theSouth Island Endurance Series is a long-standing test of New Zealand’s bestendurance teams and we’re proud to be associated with both the event and calibreof competition shown every year from all teams competing in the event”.
“The endurance and fluid range of Endless product isextremely well suited to the constant demands of high temperature and long-timeracing, and proven by teams the world over in series such as Le Mans, Nurburgring,Bathurst etc and we have no doubt that the support of ENDLESS will add to the competitivenessof this year’s series.”
Boasting an incredible field of series winning vehicles and internationallyiconic builds, the number of impressive entries is only matched by the numberof highly-talented names who will be piloting the vehicles in this year’sseries. Craig Baird and Ant Pederson will comedirectly from competing in the Sandown 500 to line up at the Teretonga Seriesopener, alongside Jono Lester, Inky Tulloch, Grant Aitken, PaulKelly in the upper capacity classes just to name a few.

The four classes of competitors will race side by side on track throughout the series with teams from the GT Class, 3501cc +, 2001 – 3500cc and 0 – 2000cc set to stun crowds in record breaking attempts over the one and three hour categories.

After this weekend’s round at Teretonga, the ASKO Endurance Series moves to Mike Pero Motorsport Park Ruapuna, Christchurch on 4 October before the Series grand finale at Levels Raceway, Timaru on 18 October, where the overall 3 Hour Series champion will be awarded the South Canterbury Toyota Cup as well as the New Zealand Endurance Championship title
